Web크래프티. About Brooklyn Slate Company. Brooklyn Slate Company is a collaborative effort from Brooklyn graphic designer Sean Tice and Parsons graduate student Kristy Hadeka. After visiting Kristy’s family slate quarry in upstate New York in the spring of 2009, the two grabbed a few pieces for use as all purpose boards back home in Brooklyn. WebBrooklyn Slate Company was founded by Sean Tice and Kristy Hadeka. They use slate slabs to make cheese boards, coasters, trivets and serving trays. Their boards are preferred in restaurants around the world for their craftsmanship and durability. Each board is cut at least 3/8” thick, making it stronger than most plates.
