WebCTY 1.1 is all steel and boy does it feel like it. CTY 1.2 is all aluminum, which was okay but had lower handlebars which I didn't like. Gear shifting on both was clunky. I asked bike dude about that and he didn't have much to say. He didn't seem to think that adjustment had anything to do with it. WebI just brought home a CTY e1.1, when REI had their 20% sale! I'm pretty happy with it. Even with the lowest boost level, I can zoom up hills that I previously struggled on (with my entry-level road bike.) In fact I wonder if it's geared too low. I also test-drove the Generation 1.1, and found it WAY too low geared.
