WebApr 9, 2013 · Out of these 97 cases, 19 were excluded (14 melanoma in situ and 5 invasive melanoma cases) due to diagnostic inconsistency. This resulted in a final number of 78 melanoma cases. In order to have a balanced set for training and testing, we selected a roughly equal amount of 88 non-melanoma cases.
