WebJul 7, 2024 · “When I was at university, they were building the extension of the East Wing of the National Gallery in Washington, which was designed by IM Pei. In the 1970s and 1980s it was a very unique structure. I gather that it’s being renovated a bit now, but the building is in fantastic shape. It’s a beautiful place to view art.
