WebApr 20, 2011 · The problem with the earlier FJ40s is that there's no practical way to vent the rear in hot weather. The roof material is not ideal to install vents. I tried leaving the upper door open, but that sucks in a copious amount of exhaust fumes. Sliding windows would also help dispel moisture that causes window fogging.
