My understanding is the newer versions, Pertronix II and III have fixed this problem. I also used one their distributors in my 77 Cordoba along with their Flame Thrower coil. WebSlip the FlameThrower coil into the bracket and tighten up the retaining bolt with your small wrenches, holding the coil firmly in place. Then tighten the 9/16” bolt to the engine block. I was wondering what the results would be increasing the gap another .010?
